Areas of Practice

I offer individual cognitive-behavioural therapy for adults with a variety of clinical problems. I have experience working with most mental health problems, including fears and phobias, social anxiety, panic disorder and agoraphobia, generalized anxiety or worry, obsessive compulsive disorder, trichotillomania, trauma, mood disorders (depression and bipolar disorder), schizophrenia and psychotic disorders, poor social skills and adjustment problems. If I see someone with a severe mental illness, I expect to work with their psychiatrist or physician to coordinate care and to ensure sufficient stability of symptoms with medication treatments so that psychological treatment will be beneficial.

I also offer supervision and training for professionals who wish to obtain further training or certification in cognitive behavioural therapy. I have provided workshops such as the Essentials of Cognitive Behavioural Practice, Beginnings and Endings in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Treatment of Anxiety and Depression, and Work-Life Balance. I would be happy to discuss tailored training to meet your needs or the needs of your group.
